The core group that leads the company has extensive experience in all aspects of Icron's business activities:

Robert Haefling
President and Chief Executive Officer
Robert Haefling brings to Icron over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry in Fortune 100 and high-growth companies in North America and Europe. He was most recently the Vice President and General Manager for ST Microelectronics’ TV, Monitor and DisplayPort Division. Before joining ST Microelectronics, Mr. Haefling held senior management positions including CEO of Meridian Audio; a U.K. based high-end developer and manufacturer of audio and video products and he served as the Vice President of Corporate Marketing and General Manager of Genesis Microchip's Faroudja division. During Mr. Haefling’s tenure at Genesis, he was involved in the early stages of the DisplayPort specification, promoting the then-proposed standard on a global basis. Prior to Genesis, Mr. Haefling worked for Sage as Vice President of Business Development for the Video Division and oversaw sales and marketing for the Systems Business Group. He joined Genesis Microchip as a result of Sage’s acquisition in March 2002. Prior to that, he has held executive managerial, sales and marketing positions at technology companies including Bell Microproducts and Texas Instruments.

Mr. Haefling holds a BA degree in Finance from the University of North Texas.

Todd Hamel
Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance
Todd Hamel is a former Controller of ADC Mobile Systems, San Diego and PCS Solutions of Vancouver, both affiliates of ADC Telecommunication Inc. in Minneapolis. He has held various finance positions with Glenayre Technologies, both in the US and Canada. Mr. Hamel holds a Certified Management Accounting designation.

John McLeod
Chief Technical Officer
Mr. McLeod has been associated with the corporation since 1996, leading the company's patent submission and product definition efforts. Prior to joining the corporation, Mr. McLeod held senior engineering management positions at Motorola and Mitel Corporation. Mr. McLeod was the software architect of Mitel's revolutionary SX-2000 product line before taking over responsibility for its development and product introduction.

Spanning a career of over 25 years in the research and development of telecommunication systems, the products developed by Mr. McLeod have provided service to over one million users. Mr. McLeod holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of St Andrews and a Master of Telecommunication Systems from the University of Essex.

Brian Donnelly
Vice President of Marketing and Business Development
Brian Donnelly has been managing sales and marketing teams for high technology companies for 17 years. Mr. Donnelly's innovative sales and marketing leadership have helped Corinex Communications, Skillsoft, and Allan Crawford Associates achieve the #1 market share in their respective industries.

Mr. Donnelly was most recently Vice President, Marketing and Business Development for Corinex Communications where he helped build the company into the market leader in Powerline communications for home and access networking through a 40 fold increase in sales within four years. He was a founder, board member and was elected Chairman of the Universal Powerline Association (UPA), a 22+ company industry organization that included Toshiba, D-Link, Buffalo, Netgear, and Comtrend and was responsible for promoting and developing IEEE and ITU worldwide specifications and standards for Powerline technology for Home, Access, and MDU networking.

Mr. Donnelly is a frequently invited speaker for access and home networking technologies, as well as emerging connectivity solutions. He holds an honours degree in Electrical Engineering from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada.

Sukhdeep Hundal
Vice President, Engineering
Sukhdeep Hundal has been involved with design and development of new technology products for 14 years. Mr. Hundal has provided technical guidance and leadership to teams in the arena of complex system integration of software and hardware for a wide range of wireless, video, voice, multimedia and networking products. Mr. Hundal has built and led high performance multidisciplinary, multi site teams for creative new product developments using leading edge technologies. The products designed and developed by Mr. Hundal and his teams have surpassed the multi-million mark of units produced for the consumer electronics market.

Mr. Hundal’s background includes a Masters Degree in Science in Communications & Radio Engineering from King’s College, University of London, UK, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Electrical Communications from Punjab University, India. He has held various design and development management positions at Vtech and Sierra Wireless contributing significantly to the growth of these companies.
