Leading marketer adds products incorporating Icron’s ExtremeUSB® technology to its line-up

Vancouver, British Columbia, November 18, 2003 – Icron Technologies Corporation (TSX.V:IT) today announced that StarTech.com, Ltd., of Groveport, Ohio will be utilizing Icron’s ExtremeUSB® technology in a new line of USB extender products called “USBthere” that it will be offering through its worldwide distribution channels.

The new USBthere series has models that will extend up to 100 meters over standard Category 5 copper cables and up to 2 kilometers over multimode fiber cables.

Icron’s patented ExtremeUSB technology breaks the 5-meter distance limit imposed by the USB standard specification – thus turning USB into an important tool for computer-to-device connectivity in many industrial and business environments.
