
ICRON establishes Advisory Board with
Industry experts.
BURNABY, B.C., March 10, 2005 - Icron Technologies Corporation
(TSX Venture: IT), the developers of ExtremeUSB® today
announced the formation of an Advisory Board including James
D. Skippen of Mosaid Technologies Inc, and Howard Sutton of
Terra Capital Corp.
James D Skippen is currently Senior Vice President, Patent
Licensing and General Counsel at MOSAID Technologies Inc.
MOSAID has distinguished itself as an intellectual property
powerhouse by licensing its patent portfolio to many of the
world’s best known electronics companies and has generated
more revenues from patent licensing than any other company
in Canada. Prior to joining MOSAID, Mr. Skippen led McCarthy
Tetrault’s technology law practice in Ottawa. Mr. Skippen
is a former Chairman of the Toronto Computer Lawyers Group
and a current member of the Executive of the Ottawa Technology
Law Group. Mr. Skippen is a frequent speaker at conferences
on technology licensing and has written numerous publications
concerning technology and the law. Mr. Skippen’s knowledge
and expertise in this area will greatly assist Icron in maximizing
the potential of its Intellectual Property Licensing program.
Howard Sutton, P.Eng., MBA, CFA is President and co-founder
of Tera Capital and currently the lead portfolio manager for
the Tera Technology Fund and the co-lead portfolio manager
for theTera Venture Trust Fund. Mr Sutton has over 22 years
of experience in the industry, holding senior level positions
in technology companies and in investment banking. Mr Sutton
brings application expertise and a wealth of investment experience
to his portfolios. He currently serves on the boards of a
number of technology companies.
