Icron Provides Update On Recent Market Activity

BURNABY, B.C., May 10, 2005 - Icron Technologies Corporation (TSX Venture: IT) wishes to update the market on the recent increase in its stock price and trading volume.

In the last week of April, Icron attended Microsoft’s WinHEC conference in Seattle, where the Company demonstrated a Wireless USB solution utilizing Icron’s ExtremeUSB technology integrated to a DS-UWB chipset. Wireless chipsets integrated with Icron’s patented ExtremeUSB technology will provide full USB 2.0 functionality to a wide range of consumer electronics devices.

Since the Seattle show, Icron’s profile has increased among chipset manufacturers that develop products aimed at consumer markets.

Icron is currently in discussions with a number of chipset manufacturers concerning the commercialization of the technology into their chipsets. However no agreements have been entered into at this time.
