
Icron releases preliminary Fourth Quarter & Annual results
BURNABY, B.C., February 6, 2007 - Icron Technologies Corporation
(TSX Venture: IT), the developers of ExtremeUSB, today announced
unaudited preliminary fourth quarter revenues of approximately
$1.8 million, up 26.5% from $1.4M in the fourth quarter of
2005. Fiscal 2006 full year revenues totaled approximately
$6.3 million, up 39.5% from the $4.5M for the comparable period
of 2005. The Company saw increases in revenues from almost
all product lines but the significant growth came from sales
of the Company’s USB 2.0 and Rover product lines.
The Company expects a range of breakeven to slightly positive
earnings for the quarter. Operating expenses remained consistent
with the previous quarters reported in 2006. There were no
further restructuring charges in the fourth quarter.
The Company generated positive cash flow from operations
and finished the year with cash balances and marketable securities
of $ 4.4 million, which is up from $ 4.1 million at the end
of third quarter of 2006.
Icron will report its full audited 2006 financial and operating
results within 120 days from year-end, 2006. We will provide
additional information, including a more detailed quarterly
review and outlook, during our regularly scheduled conference
call at that time.
