With the ExtremeUSB® Design License Agreement (DLA),
you can design your own extended range product from the ground
up. Choose any of Icron's® extended range products as
a base and we will provide you with full schematics and bills
of material for that product. You can even mix and match components
from the Turnkey (Ranger®) and Core families. All ExtremeUSB
products are based on the Xilinx Spartan family of low-cost
Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).
To assist the design process, every DLA purchase includes
an allocation of time from our design staff. We are ready
to help throughout the whole design process, from requirements
analysis, through schematic capture and layout, to verification
and manufacturing introduction.
Once your product is ready to manufacture, you can purchase
production quantities of ExtremeUSB firmware for the FPGA
at preferential rates. An optional maintenance agreement provides
access to firmware updates on a quarterly basis.
