ExtremeUSB 2.0 Core 2100 daughter boards enable OEM customers to integrate high-speed USB 2.0 extension solutions into any application over any wired transmission medium.

The ExtremeUSB 2.0 Core 2100 daughter board module enables USB extension solutions over Cat 5 UTP and fiber optics. It supports USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 peripheral devices at speeds up to 480 Mb/s over a distance of 100m/330 ft over Cat 5 and up to 10km/6.2 miles over fiber optics.

Powered by patented ExtremeUSB technology, the ExtremeUSB 2.0 Core 2100 operates with USB 2.0 high-speed host controllers and USB 1.1 classic hosts.

ExtremeUSB® 2.0 Core 2100 Developer Kit

The ExtremeUSB 2.0 Core 2100 Developer Kit consists of Local Extender (LEX) and Remote Extender (REX) motherboard modules, LEX & REX daughter-board modules, a CD containing the Core 2100 Product Specification document, a design guide, reference designs, and schematics for development of USB extension over Cat 5 UTP or fiber.
