USB over Powerline Technology
Icron's USB over Powerline technology integrates patented ExtremeUSB® technology and Powerline communications to provide remote USB 2.0 connectivity over standard AC Powerlines.
Ethernet over Powerline Communications (also known as PLC,
Broadband over Powerline, and BPL) deliver the benefit of
Ethernet connections anywhere in the home, using standard
AC electrical wiring as the communications medium. Icron's
USB over Powerline technology integrates our patented
ExtremeUSB (USB extension technology), with Powerline communications
to provide Ethernet and remote USB .0 and USB 1.1 connectivity anywhere in the home or office,
all over standard AC electrical wires.
Icron’s USB over Powerline technology combines the benefits of Broadband over Powerline with USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 extension.
