The WiRanger® is the world’s first wireless USB 2.0 Hub combining Icron’s patented ExtremeUSB® technology and an industry standard 802.11g radio to deliver cable-free USB around the home or office. For maximum performance, the WiRanger is recommended for use in environments that have low levels of wireless interference. It is recommended for use with keyboards, mice, flash drives, and other USB 2.0 devices which require moderate levels of bandwidth to ensure the end user gets the best performance from their USB devices. WiRanger is not recommended for webcams or printers. As with all of Icron’s products, the WiRanger requires no new software drivers, and operates out of the box as a plug-and-play solution for Windows XP, 2000 or Vista, Mac OS, and Linux.

The WiRanger wireless USB 2.0 hub is a four-port hub and dongle set that will enable immediate high-speed wireless connectivity with maximum reach extending beyond 30m. Using a globally approved 802.11g radio, the WiRanger is available for sale worldwide. The complete system ships with the required power adapters and host USB cable.
