Comprehensive USB and KVM extension line-up on display at Rose’s show booth #4755 from June 14-16 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Burnaby, British Columbia – June 13, 2017 – Icron Technologies Corporation, a leader in USB and video extension technology, announced today that Rose Electronics, a pioneer in developing KVM switch technology, will be displaying a full range of USB and KVM extension solutions with Icron’s patented ExtremeUSB® and ExtremeUSB-C™ technologies at the InfoComm 2017 show in Orlando, Florida, June 14-16.

Rose’s popular CrystalLink USB series offers a variety of extender models ranging from the CrystalLink USB 1.1 for reliable extension of keyboard and mouse applications up to 85 meters over CAT 5e/6/7 cable to the new CrystalLink USB 3.1 supporting all USB 3.1 devices up to 5 Gbps while simultaneously maintaining backward compatibility for USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices at their respective data rates – all over the same single CAT 6a cable up to 100 meters. Rose will also debut the new CrystalLink USB 2.0 Flex extender, providing installers the option to power either the host or peripheral side, whichever is most convenient.

Additionally, when High Definition video extension is required, Rose offers two KVM extender models for DVI + USB 2.0 and HDMI + USB 2.0 applications with the CrystalView EX6 and CrystalView HD6 respectively.

All CrystalLink and CrystalView extenders with ExtemeUSB and ExtremeUSB-C technologies feature transparent USB extension, true plug and play (no software drivers required) and compatibility with all major operating systems: Windows®, macOS™ and Linux®.

“Our CrystalLink and CrystalView extension lineup at InfoComm puts the emphasis on reliability and versatility,” said David Rahvar, General Partner at Rose. “Whether the extension application calls for keyboards and mice, flash drives, cameras and/or HD video, we have an ExtremeUSB or ExtremeUSB-C equipped solution that is perfectly suited.”

“Rose Electronics offers one of the most comprehensive USB and KVM extension lineups in the industry,” said Glenn Antonelli, Vice President of Marketing at Icron. “Rose was an early provider of innovative KVM switching solutions, and continues to drive advanced capabilities in proAV solutions such as being among the first to offer a USB 3-2-1 extension solution over a single copper cable.”

Rose’s ExtremeUSB and ExtremeUSB-C showcase will be on display at InfoComm booth #4755 from June 14-16 at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando.
