Icron Ranger® 2304PoE enables you to connect and extend all USB 2.0 device types to hosts across a Power over Ethernet enabled Gigabit Ethernet Local Area Network (LAN) using existing cabling. This ExtremeUSB® extender system features 4-ports on the REX and three additional ports on the LEX eliminating the need to connect an external USB hub.

Overview

The Icron Ranger® 2304PoE is an advanced USB 2.0 extender designed for extending all types of USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices over a PoE-enabled Gigabit Ethernet network or a single CAT 5e/6/7 cable. By leveraging existing LAN infrastructure, it simplifies installation and enhances IT management. The system is plug-and-play, requiring no software drivers and is compatible with major operating systems including Windows®, macOS™, Linux®, and ChromeOS™.

The Ranger 2304PoE supports data rates up to 480Mbps and can extend connections up to 100 meters (328 feet). It’s perfect for a wide range of applications, such as connecting keyboards, mice, interactive whiteboards, flash drives, hard drives, audio devices, and USB 2.0 web cameras. With its 4-port REX and 3-port LEX, users can connect multiple USB devices without needing external hubs, making it ideal for industrial control, remote storage, digital signage, and more.

PoE Capability: Supports IEEE 802.3at, PoE+ (25.5W), reducing installation time and providing power through existing network infrastructure. Extends USB through a PoE+ capable minimum 1000Mbps LAN.
