USB Extension over a PoE Cable LAN
Icron’s newest USB 2.0 Ranger 2304PoE extender system enables you to connect and extend all USB 2.0 device types to hosts across a PoE+ enabled Gigabit Ethernet Local Area Network up to 100m using existing cabling. The pre-paired network configuration simplifies installation and extending USB devices over a PoE capable LAN reduces installation time and provides IT visibility.
The USB 2.0 RG2304SP is a PoE + (25.5W) powered USB 2.0 high-speed OEM extension solution supporting a “virtual hub-like” feature called Simultaneous Users Interaction where multiple users in multiple locations can collaboratively view and edit common files over a Local Area Network (LAN) in real time using keyboards, mice and touch screens. This solution is available for private label with Local and Remote extenders sold separately or customized as a system.
In addition to the standard 4-ports on Remote Extender, the Local Extender comes with three USB A ports eliminating the need to connect an external USB HUB to the host ideal and is perfect for: keyboards, mice, interactive white boards, flash drives, hard drives, audio devices, USB 2.0 web cameras and any other USB 2.0 or 1.1 device. The external power supply is optional and sold separately. Warranty coverage is two years.
