The USB Rover® 2850 facilitates seamless USB 1.1 extension beyond the desktop using standard CAT 5e UTP cables, eliminating the need for additional power sources. It comprises a Local Extender (LEX) and a Remote Extender (REX), designed to connect USB peripherals reliably at distances of up to 85 meters for low-power HID devices and 40 meters for all USB devices.
