Overview

The USB 3.0 Spectra™ 3001-15 is a rugged grade single-port USB 3.0 SuperSpeed active copper extension cable, a perfect short-range extension solution when up to 15 meters distance is required for your application. This cable supports throughput of 5Gbps, features a locking USB 3.0 port delivering 900mA power, and is bus powered so no external power outlet is required. This cable is suited for AIA USB3 Vision™ camera applications, and comes with a 2-year Warranty. Note: backward compatibility to USB 2.0/1.1 is not supported.

USB 3.0’s distance limit is approximately 3 meters. When up to 15 meters is required, consider the USB 3.0 Spectra 3001-15 active copper cable. This rugged bus-powered active cable supports USB 3.0 5Gbps throughputs and provides 5V/900mA without the need for an external power source. A true plug-and-play solution, the Spectra 3001-15 cable is compatible with all leading operating systems and features a locking USB port as specified by AIA USB3 Vision™. The cable is warranted for 2 years from the date of purchase. Backward compatibility to USB 2.0/1.1 is not supported by this particular extender.
