G&D exhibiting its highly flexible KVM switch with Icron’s patented USB extension technology at booth 10-K153 from February 9th to 12th at Amsterdam RAI, Netherlands

Burnaby, British Columbia – January 20, 2016 – Icron Technologies Corporation, a leader in USB and video extension technology, announced today that Guntermann & Drunck GmbH (G&D), a leading manufacturer of digital and analogue KVM solutions, will be showcasing its ControlCenter-Digital modular KVM matrix switch enabled with patented ExtremeUSB® technology from Icron at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) Show 2016 from February 9th through 12th at Amsterdam RAI in the Netherlands.

G&D’s ControlCenter-Digital KVM matrix switch features dynamic ports and modular I/O cards to provide maximum flexibility in adapting to various ProAV, Broadcast and versatile control room applications. In addition to transmitting keyboard, mouse, RS232 and USB 2.0 signals, the system also facilitates 4K Ultra HD video. The I/O-Card-Multi allows the use of third-party devices to the matrix supporting SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, USB 3.0 or 1GB Ethernet.

The ControlCenter-Digital KVM matrix switch, along with many other solutions from G&D’s product line, has incorporated the ExtremeUSB suite of features such as transparent USB extension, true plug and play (no software drivers required) and compatibility with all major operating systems: Windows®, OS X® and Linux®.

“Flexibility and usability have always been two key aspects of our KVM solutions to ensure customers have what they need for their applications and the ease of operation to ensure deployments are successful,” said Jochen Bauer, G&D’s Marketing Director. “Incorporating ExtremeUSB 2.0 and 3.0 extension technology with our ControlCenter-Digital switch ensures we continue to uphold these traits while delivering unrivalled performance.”

“G&D has been providing industry leading KVM solutions for over 30 years,” said Glenn Antonelli, Vice President of Marketing at Icron. “The ControlCenter-Digital KVM matrix switch coupled with ExtremeUSB technology ensures G&D’s customers receive an exceptional experience in performance, flexibility and ease of use.”

A demonstration of G&D’s ControlCenter-Digital KVM matrix switch will be featured in booth 10-K153 from February 9th to 12th during the ISE show in Amsterdam.
