Demonstration featuring Streaming 4K video with USB 2.0 extension and switching using a standard 10G Ethernet switch at ZeeVee booth 10-N151 from February 9th to 12th at Amsterdam RAI, Netherlands
Burnaby, British Columbia – January 26, 2016 – Icron Technologies Corporation, a leader in USB and video extension technology, announced today that ZeeVee, Inc., a global manufacturer of video and signal distribution technology, will be launching its ZyPer4K™ CATx video distribution solution with patented ExtremeUSB® technology from Icron at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) Show 2016 from February 9th through 12th at Amsterdam RAI in the Netherlands.
The new ZyPer4K CATx expands upon the ZyPer4K platform becoming the only available solution to switch and distribute uncompressed 4K video, audio, RS232/IR control signals and USB 2.0 using off-the-shelf 10G Ethernet switches in a CATx infrastructure. Additionally, the existing ZyPer4K for fiber system will now be equipped with ExtremeUSB technology for USB 2.0 operation over any 10G fiber network switch spanning up to 10km and beyond.
Both ZyPer4K distribution solutions support Icron’s patented SwitchableUSB™ technology enabling USB signals to dynamically switch in conjunction with video, and include the ExtremeUSB suite of features, such as transparent USB extension, true plug and play (no software drivers required) and compatibility with all major operating systems: Windows®, OS X® and Linux®.
