Icron's Latest Products Receive USB-IF Compliance.

BURNABY, B.C. – Icron Systems Inc. (CDNX: ICM) announced that it has succeeded in gaining the recognized industry approvals for the latest products that incorporate its patent-pending ExtremeUSB™ technology.

The Universal Serial Bus Implementers Forum (USB-IF) is a global consortium of equipment manufacturers who administer the USB standard. The USB-IF was formed to provide a support organization and forum for the advancement and adoption of Universal Serial Bus technology. The Forum facilitates the development of high-quality compatible USB peripherals (devices), and promotes the benefits of USB and the quality of products that have passed compliance testing. As a member of the USB-IF, Icron Systems has once again demonstrated that its extension technology represents the only distance enhancement to the USB protocol that has met the high performance standards set by the USB-IF.

At its latest Compliance Workshop, held in Milpitas, CA, Icron put its USB Ranger 410 model and its ExtremeUSB™ Core OEM version through the exhaustive testing procedures. By passing the compliance testing, both products are qualified to be added to the Integrators Listing of compliant products that is administered by the USB-IF.
