Rose Electronics Launches Two New CrystalView KVM Extenders with Icron’s ExtremeUSB® + Video Technology

Burnaby, British Columbia – June 10, 2013 Icron Technologies Corporation, a leader in USB and video extension technology, is pleased to announce that Rose Electronics, a pioneer in KVM switch technology, have added two new models to their highly regarded CrystalView KVM extender series, incorporating Icron’s ExtremeUSB® technology.

The CrystalView EX5 KVM extender features USB 2.0 and DVI video inputs and outputs, the CrystalView EX HDMI also offers USB2.0 but with HDMI video inputs and outputs. Both new KVM extenders offer uncompressed high definition 1900 x 1200 video along with USB 2.0 extension over a single Cat 5e cable, up to distances of 100 meters. Additionally, the EX HDMI model supports 1080p/4K resolution along with CEC/HDCP pass-through compatibility.
