Burnaby, British Columbia – January 18, 2018 – Icron Technologies Corporation, a leader in USB and video extension technology, announced today that ZeeVee, Inc., a global manufacturer of video and signal distribution technology, will be featuring its highly versatile ZyPer4K™ video distribution solution featuring Icron’s patented ExtremeUSB®, SwitchableUSB™ and Simultaneous Users Interaction™ technologies at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2018 show at the RAI Amsterdam in the Netherlands, February 6th through 9th.
The ZyPer4K simplifies video distribution by offering virtual plug and play configuration using the ZeeVee Management platform with nearly any commercial off-the-shelf 10G Ethernet switch. The third generation ZyPer4K offers full HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 capability including support for uncompressed, zero latency 4K video. Optional inputs for DisplayPort, HD-SDI and Analogue are available for tailoring to specific applications.
By incorporating Icron’s SwitchableUSB protocols, ZyPer4K customers can dynamically switch USB 2.0 signals in conjunction with video while Simultaneous Users Interaction enables ZeeVee’s MultiView function to monitor up to seven sources on a single display. The feature-rich ZyPer4K also includes the ExtremeUSB suite of features such as transparent USB extension, true plug and play (no software drivers required) and compatibility with all major operating systems: Windows®, macOS™ and Linux®.
