Live demonstrations of world’s first USB 3-2-1 over copper/fiber and USB 3-2-1 + DisplayPort 4Kp60 4:4:4 video extension platforms from June 14-16 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, booth #4361.
Burnaby, British Columbia – June 13, 2017 – Icron Technologies Corporation, a leader in USB and video extension technology, announced today it will be showcasing live demonstrations of its new ExtremeUSB-C™ based Raven and Maverick extension solutions at InfoComm 2017 in Orlando, Florida, June 14-16.
The USB 3-2-1 Raven is a four-port USB extender system supporting all USB 3.1 devices up to 5 Gbps while maintaining backward compatibility for USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices at their respective throughput rates simultaneously over a single CAT 6a cable up to 100 meters or 200 meters over multi-mode fiber.
The USB 3-2-1 + DisplayPort 1.2a 4Kp60 Maverick KVM extender system builds upon the Raven by adding TICO™ lightweight video compression from technology partner intoPIX, enabling 10 Gbps extension of Ultra High Definition 4Kp60 4:4:4: video and all type USB peripherals over a single CAT 6a cable up to 100 meters or 200 meters over fiber. The highly flexible Maverick platform will soon be available to OEM customers to support their specific design applications.
Both innovative extension solutions include the ExtremeUSB-C suite of features such as transparent USB extension, true plug-and-play (no software drivers required) and compatibility with all major operating systems: Windows®, macOS™ and Linux®.
“Our new USB 3-2-1 and USB 3-2-1 plus 4K DisplayPort video solutions are both world firsts,” said Tom Schultz, Product Manager at Icron. “The Raven supports all USB 3.1, 2.0 and 1.1 devices over a single CAT 6a or fiber cable while the Maverick additionally provides OEM customers with 4Kp60 4:4:4 video and the flexibility to tailor to their own unique customizations.”
The live demonstrations, along with Icron’s complete range of USB and KVM extension solutions, will be at show booth #4361 from June 14-16 at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando.
