Rose displaying popular CrystalLink extender series with USB 3.0 at InfoComm13 in Orlando, FL on June 12-14th
Burnaby, British Columbia – June 12, 2013 –Icron Technologies Corporation, a leader in USB and video extension technology, is pleased to announce today that Rose Electronics, a pioneer in developing KVM switch technology, is expanding their CrystalLink USB extender series to include Icron’s ExtremeUSB® 3.0 functionality built on the USB 3.0 SP3022, available now, and the USB 3.0 SP3123 which will be available later this fall.
Both USB 3.0 extension over fiber solutions will be on display at InfoComm13 by Rose (booth #2522) and Icron (booth #5158) in Orlando, Florida, beginning today through to the show’s conclusion on Friday.
The SP3022 is a two-port USB extender system supporting USB 3.0 devices at 5Gbps, up to 100 meters and beyond over multimode OM3 fiber optic cabling. The SP3123 is a three-port USB extender system that in addition to USB 3.0 extension, features USB 2.0 and 1.1 backward compatibility. Both models have locking USB ports and power connectors and are designed to be in compliance with AIA USB3 Vision™ devices. Rose will incorporate these two solutions into their successful CrystalLink USB extension brand.
