Icron’s SpectraTM 3001-15 and 3022 extenders are on display at booth #8-H215 from February 4th to 6th in Amsterdam, Netherlands
Burnaby, British Columbia – January 28, 2014 – Icron Technologies Corporation, a leader in USB and video extension technology announced that syscomtec Distribution AG, a renowned distributor of products for the transmission and management of signals and digital signage solutions, as the first European distributor to offer Icron’s newest product, the Spectra USB 3.0 3001-15. syscomtec will be displaying Icron’s Spectra series USB 3.0 extension solutions at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2014.

Icron’s Spectra series includes two USB 3.0 extenders: the Spectra 3001-15, a robust 15-meter active copper cable, and the Spectra 3022, a fiber extender that is ideal for longer distances up to 100 meters.
The Spectra 3001-15 is a 15-meter USB 3.0 active copper extension cable that provides an affordable solution for short-range applications. Bus-powered from the host computer, the Spectra 3001-15 provides a full 5V, 900mA of current and contains a second USB 3.0 power connector if additional power is needed. This active cable also features a locking USB receptacle and has an LED indicator at the device connection point.
The Spectra 3022 extender system supports USB 3.0 throughput up to 5Gbps, extending USB 3.0 up to 100 meters over multimode OM3 fiber optic cabling. As with all of Icron’s product offerings, the Spectra 3001-15 and the Spectra 3022 come with Icron’s ExtremeUSB® suite of features. This includes transparent USB extension, true plug and play (no software drivers) and compatibility with all major operating systems including Windows® 8.
